Fluke is the common name of summer flounder, the predatory flatfish common in the North Atlantic waters. The American’s favorite inshore fish is likely to live in the bottom. The most challenging fish to spot when they are underwater. They are masters of camouflage.

Another difference is their eye position; fluke eyes are on the left side, while winter flounder eyes are on the right side.
