TIPS FOR DEEP SEA FISHING:

Choose an Expert:

If you are a beginner, it is better to have someone as your guide. However, it is not good to be alone in the group if you are an amateur because deep sea fishing is different from other fishing.

 Fish Near a Reef:

The reef side area can be a special place because many small fishes usually reside near the reef. The school of smaller fishes means the larger fishes also may be in the same area or nearby.

Observe Nature:

It would be best if you observed nature indicators to spot where you can find the fish. For example, if you see seagulls circling in an area, that area has smaller fishes as the smaller fishes are the seagulls' food.

Sun Protection:

The deep sea fishing mostly starts in the morning, and as the day proceeds, it gets warmer, so you must have something to protect you from the scorching sun.

It would be best to have your hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses with you because you are most likely to be exposed to sunburn.

Sea Sickness Medications:

The trip can be thrilling and satisfying if you are not vulnerable to motion or seasickness. So be sure to take your dose before the start of the journey.

Be Careful About Dolphins:

When fish for tuna, be careful not to harm the dolphin as they are protected species.

You may find reels and rods on the board suitable for offshore fishing. The reels are bigger and larger, as your targeted fish is not only large but fast too.

Some of the boats have electrically operated reels, and some are fitted with outriggers for trolling. This kind of setup will help you fish in the bottom waters and have more chances to catch the Tilefish and some Swordfish.
